LG Chem Unveils Its New Modular Type Home Battery RESU10M at ees Europe 2019

LG Chem's new RESU10M allows customers to handle and install batteries more easily both inside and outside the house
LG Chem invited 200 installers to the 'the LG Chem ees installer event 2019' to deliver a series of training sessions on RESU10M

16 May 2019, Munich – LG Chem, Korea's leading manufacturer of advanced lithium-ion batteries, will present its latest modular type home battery, RESU10M, at ees (Electrical Energy Storage) Europe 2019, the continent's largest international exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems.

With its diverse range of products and energy solutions, LG Chem RESU home batteries allow users to choose the product optimized for their energy consumption patterns. To meet the growing expectations for easy handling and quick installation, LG Chem has developed the new modular type home battery RESU10M. Although its total energy capacity resembles the original RESU10, the improved RESU10M adds more value with its innovative form factor battery that divides into two separate battery modules, and a top cover. Each battery module weighs around 36kg, less than half the weight of the RESU10, maximizing the ease of user installation. With its sleek, sturdy material and sophisticated design, the product can be installed anywhere, both inside and outside the house. The product will be available in Europe from July 2019.

But that is not where LG Chem's involvement ends. To support installers across the continent, the company held the 'LG Chem ees installer event 2019', a series of informative training sessions to introduce the new RESU10M and have open discussions with more than 200 installers. In the first day training sessions on May 15, LG Chem provided certificates and gifts to the installers, encouraging the sales of the company's groundbreaking RESU10M. There are two additional training sessions scheduled for May 16th at ees Europe 2019.
